Dinner in French traditional homes


 


Period: All year around, except French official holidays
Frequency: Preferably thursday night, or on request ( closed on French holidays)
Timing: 19:30 to 22:30 (3 hours)
Groups: Minimum: 3 pax (because ESA or JSA is always provided), maximum 6 pax
Reservation: At least one month ahead, by fax, with name of each client, hotel and age if possible
Content: Full course dinner & famous wines & service of Englis or Japanese speaking, lady coordinator from hotel lobby
   

Schedule
Part 1 (About 30 minutes)
Welcoming and aperitive drinks, while discussing subject such as the history of the house and Paris district, some talks about the family, about remarkable piece of decoration or furniture, visit of some portions of the house, including kitchen, lounge, dining room. It is expected that the Japanese guests take part in the conversation, so some family pictures, small souvenirs or objects may help. If not, it is good etiquette to bring flowers from a Paris flower shop.

Part 2 (About 90 minutes)
Dinnner consists of hors d'oeuvres, main course of fish or meat, salad, cheese, and desert. All is prepared in the house, using some original family recipes. The dining table displays original antique silverware, plates, and glassware in the pure French tradition. Assorted wines from the family private wineyards will be served and explained.

Part 3 (About 30 minutes)
After dinner, the party will proceed to lounge for coffee, and liqueurs. Some photos for souvenir can be taken at this moment. Farewell about 22:00, when suggested by the Japanese escort lady.
