WINE CONNECTION

Thema has original proposals for all foreign visitors interested in French wines: To meet the winemakers and stay overnight locally in their house, adding a human experience to the pleasure of discovery!

In practical terms, we can do the following services:

1° reservations center for staying at a winery

Thema maintains a network of over 100 visited Wine makers offering guests accomodations. This covers all Wine region of France: Champagne, Loire Valley, Alsace, Burgondy, Rhone Valley, Provence, Bordeaux region... We can select, confirm a booking, and issue voucher and road map after debit on your card.
Price: from 90 Euros for a room for 2, including breakfast

2° Paris to Paris Winery stay, visit, and tasting programme

For those who do not drive a car, we have agreed with 10 selected wineries a special welcome programme: Pick up at the train station direct from Paris, visit of estate and cellars, sampling and degustation of the estate products, dinner, night, and breafast next morning in the estate.
Price: from 300 euros for 2 pax: includes transfer, visit and sampling, dinner, room, breakfast

3° Customized tour of wine regions

If you want to tour one or several wine regions, we can organize a customized itinerary, combining chateau stay and winery stay, for the number of days you have planned.

4° Wineyard minibus tours

English speaking inspection of wineyards, from Bordeaux, Beaune, Colmar, Epernay, etc...
Price: from 40 Euros per pax, for half day tour, minimum 2 pax or 4 pax

5° Wine course for foreigners 3 days 2 days 1 day

For semi professionals, we can arrange wine culture courses from half day to one week, in Wine school & academies (Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Rhone valley, Champagne) .

6° Introduction ceremony in French Wine fellowships

Depending on the season and experience, THEMA can arrange, on a case by case basis, enrolment and certification in several local wine societies (Loire Valley).

Example of a 3days-2nights tour combining THEMA “wine connections”

Day #1:

- Paris to Tours by fast train TGV 55’, welcome & transfer at a winery of Loire Valley

- Visit of property, of vineyards, wine sampling

- Dinner & night at the winery in a guest room (twin or double room)

Day #2:

- Half day sight seing or visit of local cellars with an english speaking driver

- Lunch in a country inn with the english speaking driver

- Transfer to a local chateau hotel

- Free afternoon there

- Night in chateau hotel in twin or double room

Day #3:

After breakfast, transfer at TGV station
